2009 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship

The 2009 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship was the 14th, the premier annual international inline hockey tournament. It took place between the 6th of June to the 13th of June in Germany. The games were played in the Saturn Arena in Ingolstadt. The defending champions Sweden, won the two previous championships.
The Saturn Arena in Ingolstadt opened in 2003 and accommodates an attendance of 4,815. Germany gained the right to host the World Championship for the 5th time.
Sweden won its third consecutive and sixth overall championship defeating United States in the final 7–6.
